Introduction
Elementor has completely changed the way people build websites. With over 13 million websites using it and 3.6 million on Elementor Pro, Elementor easily the king of page builders. Honestly, I don’t think I would have started building websites if Elementor didn’t exist.
But what if you want to learn Elementor Pro without paying for it upfront? That’s where Pro Elements comes in.

What is Pro Elements?
Pro Elements is a plugin that unlocks Elementor Pro features without requiring a paid license.
What You Get:

✅ Theme Builder – Design headers, footers, and page templates.
✅ Popup Builder – Create popups for sign-ups, discounts, and notifications.
✅ Pro Widgets – Gain access to more advanced widgets for better designs.
✅ Custom Code – Add JavaScript code to your site’s header or footer.
What You Don’t Get:
❌ No Official Support – If something breaks, you’re on your own.
❌ No Pre-Made Templates – Unlike Elementor Pro, Pro Elements doesn’t include one-click templates.
❌ No Updates or Security Fixes – Since it’s not official, it doesn’t get security patches or improvements.
At first glance, it seems like an easy way to get Elementor Pro features for free—but there’s more to the story.
Legal Considerations
Using Pro Elements isn’t as straightforward as it seems. Here’s what you need to know:
1. Is It Legal?
Elementor is open-source under GPL (General Public License) v3, meaning anyone can modify and share its code. Pro Elements takes advantage of this by unlocking paid features without an official license.
Technically, this isn’t illegal, but it goes against Elementor’s intended use, making it a gray area.

2. Trademark Issues
Modifying GPL software is fine, but using Elementor’s brand name, logos, or assets without permission can violate trademark laws. If Elementor thinks Pro Elements is misleading users, they can take legal action.
3. Ethical Concerns
Elementor Pro isn’t just about features—it’s also about supporting the developers who maintain and improve it. Using Pro Elements to bypass payment might not be illegal, but it’s definitely questionable from an ethical standpoint.
4. No Official Updates = Security Risks
- Elementor Pro gets regular updates with bug fixes and security patches.
- Pro Elements doesn’t, meaning any security flaws stay open, making your website an easy target for hackers.
5. Risk of Plugin Removal
Since Pro Elements is not an official Elementor plugin, Elementor could file complaints to have it removed from plugin directories. If this happens, you could suddenly lose access, which could break your website.
Is Pro Elements Safe?
Using unofficial plugins always comes with security risks, and Pro Elements is no exception. I strongly recommend you to use officiall Plugins.
🚨 No Security Fixes: Bugs and vulnerabilities remain open.
🚨 Higher Risk of Hacks: Older versions of Elementor have had security flaws—without updates, these risks increase.
🚨 Potential Website Breakage: If Elementor updates, Pro Elements may stop working.

Examples of Security Issues in Similar Plugins:
- Elementor itself has had major security vulnerabilities in the past, including one that allowed hackers to upload files and take over websites. Fortunately, Elementor quickly released a patch—but Pro Elements doesn’t get updates like that.
- Another popular Elementor addon, Essential Addons for Elementor, had a flaw that could let attackers steal user data. The developers fixed it quickly, but again, Pro Elements wouldn’t receive such fixes.
This shows why regular updates are critical—and why using an unofficial plugin can be risky.
What Do Users Say?
Pro Elements gets mixed reviews from users.
✅ Some users love it because it lets them learn Elementor Pro before deciding whether to buy a license.
❌ Others report issues, including bugs, security risks, and missing features.
❓ Many debates exist online about whether using it is “okay” or if it’s just another pirated tool.
It all comes down to whether you’re comfortable using a plugin that might break, might disappear, and might leave your website vulnerable.
What Does Elementor Say?
Elementor does not support using Pro Elements. They highlight these reasons:
🔹 Regular Updates – Official versions get security patches and new features.
🔹 Customer Support – Pro users get direct support from Elementor’s team.
🔹 Better Stability – Licensed versions are fully tested and optimized for performance.

If Pro Elements ever stopped working due to an Elementor update, you’d be stuck with a broken website and no way to fix it.
Better Alternatives
If you want Elementor Pro features without legal risks, here’s what you can do:
1. Get Elementor Pro

- The safest, most stable option for serious projects.
- Provides support, updates, and security fixes.
2. Use Elementor Free
- The free version already has powerful features.
- You can extend it with trusted third-party addons.
3. Try Other Page Builders
- Brizy, Divi, and Beaver Builder are great alternatives.
- Some offer lifetime deals instead of yearly fees.
4. Use addon
- Addons much powerful than you think.
- It can enable popup functionality, theme builder functionality, etc.
Conclusion
So, is Pro Elements safe?

Elementor pro don’t come with high price it’s come with only $4 a month I think you can pay that much. I will never ever recommend to you to use pro elements
⚠️ No security updates – Your website could be vulnerable.
⚠️ No support – If something breaks, you’re on your own.
⚠️ No guarantee – Elementor could shut it down at any time.
For serious projects, buying Elementor Pro is the best option. It ensures security, stability, and long-term reliability—things Pro Elements cannot guarantee. I strongly recommend you to never use pro elements Elementor official comes about $4 a month which is a lot less most of the business required this much. I will never ever tell you to use pro elements because it comes with high risk. the hosting provider you are using may get also hacked by it.
Personal Note: I installed Pro Elements once, and within a few days, I noticed suspicious and potentially malicious code appearing on my server via FTP. After I deleted Pro Elements, those issues stopped. That experience alone was enough for me to never use it again. So pro elements is not recommended use official elementor.
